As an AACA member you may bring one guest a year to any meeting, except the Annual Forum and Holiday Meeting, for free. To utilize this option please enter the name of your guest under registration at the time you register for the event.

    Join in the fun at our first annual “Snack Pack” community volunteer event! We will assemble snack boxes with items provided by The United Way in order to provide a full and balanced meal for children in the community who may not have access to food.  

    We have been invited to explore JE Dunn Construction’s breakroom which features shuffleboard, foosball, pool and bocce ball.  A catered BBQ dinner and plenty of beverage options will be provided. 

    Snack box assembly will begin at 5:00-- feel free to come for the full event or stop by as you're able.

    Please join the fun and network with your AACA colleagues while we support the local community!

    Strategic Communication in Total Rewards


    Make Sure Employees 'Get It'

    This course provides an introduction to strategic communication, focusing on total rewards communication. It begins by establishing the purpose and value of strategic communication along with discussing how behaviors can be influenced by communications. In addition, an eight-step process is detailed providing guidance for creating an effective and efficient communication campaign. Case studies provide participants an opportunity to apply the eightstep process. Furthermore, specific communications related to each of the total rewards elements are highlighted, as are suggestions for communicating special situations, such as a merger or acquisition.

    • Learn the rationale for strategically planning a communication campaign.
    • Discuss the characteristics of effective communication.
    • Obtain an understanding of the eight steps of the communication process.
    • Identify the appropriate communication channel to deliver the message.
