Mission

Under the direction of the Director or Manager, Compensation, the Senior Compensation Analyst’s mission is to provide strong analytical support to the full range of compensation programs and services, including market pricing, job evaluation, salary survey participation, pay structure design, bonus and equity plan administration, merit processing, compensation data analysis and related functions.

Outcomes

·         Perform job evaluations by reviewing new or revised positions and determine appropriate job grades, salary structure, and FLSA classification and reviews results with HR stakeholders. Assist with creating and maintaining a job description library

·         Supports all compensation programs and processes such as the administration of equity plans, bonus plans, and merit and wage plan as well as structure adjustments.

·         Participates in various industry-related compensation surveys and analyzes data to ensure competitive pay practices.  Suggests adjustments to philosophy, principles or processes to better align compensation programs.

·         Maintains appropriate databases for compensation programs and data. May include ad hoc data reporting; data maintenance in the current HRIS System, SAP; HRIS reviews and clean-up; or other specialized database maintenance as needed.

·         Develops materials and partners with the HR field to deliver training and education for the compensation practice.

·         Equity program administration


Background and Experience

·         Strong skills in Excel; Good operating knowledge of PowerPoint and Word

·         Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Working knowledge of statistical methods, data analysis and presentation skills

·         Ability to maintain confidentiality

·         Ability to multi-task and manage conflicting priorities under tight deadlines

Education and Knowledge

·         Bachelor's Degree

·         4+  years in compensation, financial analysis, or related experience

·         Certified Compensation Professional designation preferred

·         Additional HR or Benefits related experience a plus
