Director, Employee Benefits & Compensation

Position Summary:

This position is responsible for leading the strategic design, implementation, administration and governance of US Employee Benefits, Wellness Programs and Compensation programs including salary, incentives, equity, sales and executive compensation.  Supports internal functions in all aspects of compensation, providing direction, guidance and thought leadership on compensation. Specific responsibilities include planning, recommending, and implementing new or modified benefits and wellness programs while managing the administration of existing plans to ensure regulatory compliance, and maximum program coverage while controlling costs for employees and the company and competitively positioning the company in the market.  This role will ensure all programs align with corporate business objectives and are fully compliant with all legal and regulatory requirements. Leads the benefits and compensation functions and accompanying teams with an emphasis on collaboration and education. This position works closely with the HR Leadership Team and HR Generalists to ensure that benefits and compensation programs support business objectives and pay-for-performance philosophy.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Minimum eight years' experience in Benefits Administration.
  • 4+ years relevant experience in Compensation with the ability to manage and operate at both a strategic and hands-on level as needed.
  • Expertise in designing and administering benefits programs and compensation plans, defined-benefit pension plan administration.
  • Comprehensive ability to communicate, influence, persuade, gain confidence of and advise senior management on sensitive issues regarding Benefits and Wellness.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with HR software.
  • Demonstrated project management skills, including the ability to work independently on projects of high complexity with minimal supervision.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
