Senior Compensation Analyst - McKinsey & Company

WHAT YOU'LL DO

You will be responsible for supporting compensation processes and activities related to senior firm function roles. 


In this role you will conduct benchmarking analysis of roles by reviewing external and internal data and assigning compensation ranges. Additionally, you will work on special projects and ad-hoc analyses with other members of the global compensation function. This includes preparing incumbent data reports and analyses, and maintaining compensation ranges.

You will support the annual process of providing global wage inflation information and annual increase guidelines to offices, and will assist with the administration of year-end compensation for specific populations.

Serving as a compensation subject matter expert, you will prepare presentations for leaders on a range of compensation topics. Lastly, you will implement and maintain compensation software.


WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH

You will work as part of our newly formed global compensation functions based in Atlanta. GA. 


QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree, concentration in HR or business is preferred
  • 2+ years of relevant experience (Compensation Analyst or HR Analyst strongly preferred)
  • Professional experience and/or strong interest in compensation analysis or HR analysis 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; must be able to communicate clearly, comfortably, and professionally with internal and external clients including senior leaders 
  • Experience capturing and organizing data in a manner that allows for impactful analysis and insights
  • Ability to be a team player, but also have the capability to work independently 
  • Ability to work well under tight deadlines and juggle multiple responsibilities
  • Ability to handle confidential material discretely
