The Compensation & Benefits Analyst will drive and deliver compensation and other rewards programs for Delta Vacations. Provide analytics and recommendations for salary and benefit expense projections in support of corporate goals. Support the delivery of employee payroll, benefits and related programs in partnership with Delta Air Lines' HR Service Delivery team. Apply business and analytical skills towards practical business solutions on HR projects and initiatives.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS


Compensation & Benefits Administration and Analysis:
1. Perform analytics and strategic recommendations for compensation and HR financial data by maintaining a thorough knowledge of all DLV compensation including: job and market analysis, benchmarking and research of external market surveys for the purpose of pricing jobs, developing salary recommendations, and maintaining company salary structures.
2. Maintain job description bank, incentive plan repository, and pay structure ranges, providing accessibility to leadership and applicable employees.
3. Deliver and partner with Manager to plan for the DLV salary review process and incentive programs.

Headcount, Benefit & Salary Planning:
1. Conduct analytics and initiate recommendations for the company salaries and headcount budget projections including reconciling general ledger accounts pertaining to salary, payroll taxes, accruals and deductions in cooperation with HR, Finance and Accounting.
2. Produce monthly forecast of salary, headcount, and benefit expense.
3. Deliver quarterly reporting and divisional HR Dashboards for HR metrics including but not limited to attrition, internal job movement and salary changes.  

HR System & Service Delivery (HRSD):
1. Partner with Delta HRSD team to implement new systems and updates, through writing business requirements, creating and testing scripts and acting as the DLV lead on projects related to payroll, time and attendance, compensation, benefits and other HR activities.
2. Interface with Delta to ensure the integrity of data through maintaining and updating SAP HR system records and access.
3. Query data from SAP HR for reporting, analysis or presenting recommendations.  


MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university; or equivalent work experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience in Business, Human Resources, Finance or a related field required
  • 2-4 years of Human Resources experience required
  • 2-4 years of direct compensation analysis experience required
  • Benefits experience and working knowledge required
  • Familiarity with laws and regulations affecting compensation and benefits including RLA, FLSA, ERISA, COBRA, and HIPPA
  • Advanced MS Excel, Access, Word and Adobe Acrobat skills required
  • Experience with SAP/Pay Factors or similar HR System required
  • Proficient Tableau skills preferred
  • Prior HRIS experience with system report writing preferred
