Compensation Analyst in Atlanta

DAL Global Services, a wholly owned subsidiary of Delta Air Lines, is currently seeking a Compensation Analyst in Atlanta, GA.(near the airport) to administer the compensation program in accordance with State and Government regulations and DAL Global Services policy and procedures.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Uses contract data to create pay schedules for hourly paid employees.

  • Monitors and researches state and local legislative actions related to pay and benefits and assists in implementation of changes as necessary.

  • Ensures data integrity, provides scheduled and ad hoc reports, conducts salary surveys and analyzes data to make and support recommendations.

  • Monitors employees in manual pay status and makes entries into HRIS as appropriate.

  • Communicates compensation plans to managers and HR Staff.

  • Researches and resolves individual pay issues and explains rational for decisions made.

  • Assists HR and field personnel with pay issues by investigating problems and developing resolutions.

  • Maintains confidentiality throughout all work aspects.

  • Collaborates with Technology Analyst and uses HRIS and ATS as necessary to maintain and fulfill internal and agency reporting requirements.

  • Creates and maintains job descriptions.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, or related field or equivalent work experience desired. Prefer two (2) to three (3) years of Compensation Analyst experience.

Excellent computer skills with at least advanced skill level of word processing and spreadsheet applications using Microsoft Office products. Experience with Lawson HRIS and TALEO ATS desired. Ability to analyze data and perform math computations. Knowledge of AAP/OFCCP, Federal and State regulations. Must be able to analyze and synthesize information from a multitude of sources and develop/support recommendations. Must work well under pressure and within assigned deadlines. Excellent follow-up, organizational and time management skills are required. Excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills. Must be detail oriented, able to work on multiple tasks concurrently, and maintain confidentiality.
